Information on dynamic adjustment of charging power

Previously, charging was paused when Power Manager tried to keep the charging within the power limit for your selected power step and daily maximum. This caused some cars not to resume charging and users received many push notifications from Futurehome and the car’s app saying that charging had stopped.

Power Manager will now try to reduce the charging speed instead of pausing completely. This should lead to far fewer notifications and fewer issues with restarting charging on certain car models.

Reducing charging power does not affect spot-price optimisation – only the consumption limit. We recommend turning off price optimisation if you experience issues with charging resuming.

Information on the monthly overview

The new monthly overview gives you a summary of your total consumption, which devices use the most electricity during the month, and your current daily maximum compared with your set consumption limit.

This way, you have full control over your daily maximum and can see which devices account for what share of your total monthly consumption. The overview resets at the start of each new month.
