11.08.26 - Zaptec (v3.0.3)

What's new in this update

  • Real-time charger status — Charger status now updates instantly rather than on a timer, so you always see exactly what's happening without waiting for the next refresh.
  • Fixed repeated crashes on startup — A bug that caused the app to crash repeatedly on launch has been resolved. This affected installations where a login token was present but the saved credentials were empty.
  • Better handling of Zaptec outages — The app previously reported "credentials lost" during temporary Zaptec service disruptions. This was a false alarm and has now been fixed.
  • Cleaner charging pauses at low power — The app now properly distinguishes between the maximum allowed current and the current offered through load balancing. When available current drops below 6A, charging pauses gracefully instead of behaving unpredictably.
  • Accurate energy readings — On certain charger firmware versions, energy usage was displayed with stale or incorrect values. This has been corrected.
  • Support for large installations — Installer accounts managing hundreds or thousands of chargers are now handled correctly.
  • Automatic migration on upgrade — Upgrading from version 2.x will automatically convert all settings and data. No action is required on your part.
  • Security improvements — Login credentials and access tokens are no longer exposed in configuration reports or diagnostic logs. File permissions for sensitive data have also been tightened.
